Jason here again talking about windows and doors. There seems to be an ever increasing interest in replacing windows in existing homes. It appears that consumers are recognizing that their home values are stabilizing and with the uncertainty of selling their property, there seems to be a strong trend towards upgrading their existing windows and doors to more efficient, quality driven products. That isn't to say people aren't still purchasing solid vinyl windows, but the sale of higher end windows is picking up again for us.

I learned very early in business that people buy products and services from people that they like and are comfortable with. Rightfully so, it should be that way, since it is the customer's money and they should enter into buying situations that they are comfortable with and know that their needs will be met in the best way possible. That is what we strive for at Windows & More. I have been selling and consulting on windows and doors for over 21 years and have developed much experience and knowledge during that time.

How many people would rather go fishing to the gulf stream in a vinyl boat vs. a fiberglass boat, raise your hand? Put your hand down, you know you are a vinyl window salesman...........anyone else? I didn't think so, not 50+ miles from shore and the only thing keeping you afloat would be highly combustible, brittle or soft depending on the temps, virgin or recycled vinyl, whats the difference?! What you really want is the strength to weight ratio of fiberglass. Up until the early 90's, you couldnt get a fiberglass window.

Happy 2012 to everyone! Hopefully everyone had a great holiday enjoyed with family and friends. Here's to an awesome, victorious, and prosperous 2012 for all of us! It is actually amazing how things can change with perspective, the right thought process, and surrounding yourself with people to encourage and be encouraged by. Like Sharon told me this morning, you cant feel good if your thoughts are bad, and also the contrary is true.

Jason here again today. I guess most of us have Thanksgiving on our minds today, gathering with family members, overeating, watching 12 hours of football, and moaning everytime we eat too much. Let's face it, Thanksgiving should be everyday and most of us have more than we can say grace to. We are all blessed beyond what our deeds deserve and for that, let's be thankful in all things at all times.

Jason here again talking about Marvin and Integrity windows & doors. Windows & doors are an important part of everyday life. We always are looking out of our windows and doors, we go to and fro through our doors, and when windows and doors do not perform as needed, it can be an everyday frustration for homeowners.

No, I dont mean the candy that is so good at pulling loose teeth in unsuspecting youngsters(I know because I had one pulled by a Now or Later in my childhood years), but I am talking about owners and contractors saving money on construction costs by using cheap vinyl windows. Sure some of the problems are poor operation, poor performance, leaking during typical rain events, air leakage, difficult parts to replace, stress cracks, seal failures, and the list can go on.
